MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Marquette County Rod Commission will be performing chip seal operations on Monday, June 19th. The chip seal operations will impact county road 581 in Tilden township from the Ishpeming city limit to county road PG or beagle club road.
County road 587 or the Cooper Lake cut-a-cross in Ishpeming township, and county road 573 or Deer Lake Road in Ishpeming township from the north part off Cooper Lake Road for 2.2 miles will all be affected as well.
The road commission says travelers should expect potential travel delays and loose gravel on the effected roads.
