FAIRBANKS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – UPDATE: The Delta County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two subjects in the fatal single vehicle crash that happened early morning on Sunday, June 11.
22-year-old Brooke Dalgord, of Garden, was the driver of the vehicle. She sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to UPHS-Marquette, where she remains for treatment.
20-year-old Connor Dalgord, from Garden, was the passenger in the vehicle. He was ejected from the vehicle in the crash, and has died as a result of his injuries.
The crash occurred in the area of II Road and 11th Road in Fairbanks Township at approximately 3:00am on Sunday morning.
Very few details have been released, and the crash is still under investigation.

On Sunday, June 11, at approximately 3:00 am, Deputies from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a one vehicle accident in the area of II Road and 11th Road in Fairbanks Township.
The driver of the vehicle was a 22-year-old female, who was transported to U.P. Heath Systems in Marquette, where she remains hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
A 20-year-old male passenger was ejected from the vehicle, and has died as a result of his injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
The Delta County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Tri Star Medics, UP Health Systems, Michigan State Police, Manistique Public Safety, and Pro Towing. Several bystanders also assisted at the scene.
