Iron Mountain, Mich (WZMQ) – The 20-hole disc golf course in Iron Mountain is proving to be a popular destination for enthusiastic players this summer. According to the course ambassador, Ryan Wille, there are plenty of opportunities for the whole family to get involved in the summer fun.
Wille recently announced the Friday Fundays happening at multiple nearby courses throughout the season. “It’s a completely free league, it’s very beginner-friendly. We have discs for people to use if they don’t have their own as well. And we travel around a bit, but we’re based out of Norway Lake and Felch,” noted Wille.
The league is getting excited for their 14th annual Tailings Tournament coming to Iron River in just a few weeks, and registration is open to the public. It promises to be a great event for players of all levels. The tournament is scheduled for the 10th of June and the public can register the day of at 8am-9am central time or pre-register online.
