Dueling DJs to Battle it Out in Dickinson County’s Charity for Domestic Abuse Survivors

Get ready to dance the night away for a good cause! Upper Peninsula Entertainment DJs are gearing up for a charity duel that’s sure to be an unforgettable night of summer fun. The event, taking place this Friday in Dickinson County, is all about raising money for the Tri-County Safe Harbor for Survivors of Domestic Abuse.

Justin Wyckoff, the owner of Amp’D UP Entertainment, promises that this is the first of many events to come. “It’s going to an amazing cause, three of the area’s best entertainers got together and decided that since the U.P. doesn’t have a club anymore. We wanted to bring one to everybody and make it something special.” Wyckoff remarked. “We’re hoping to do this many times over. Come as you are, and have a good time,” he added.

So what can you expect from this epic night of music and dancing? For starters, an open bar all night long. But if you really want to treat yourself, VIP tickets are available that include access to a lounge room with complimentary champagne and a chocolate fountain. The event is open to adults only who are 21 and older.

The event takes place at the Ever After Event Center in Kingsford, and doors open at 7:00 p.m. Central time. The entertainers are set to battle it out until midnight, but if the party’s still going strong, the DJs promise to keep the beat dropping until Saturday morning. Don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy some summer night-life while supporting a great cause. Tickets are available online or at the venue, and all ticket money goes toward the charity.

Other challengers in the DJ duel include Music on the Go and Morning Star Entertainment.

Tickets can be found at:

Or general admission tickets will be available on a first-com first-serve basis at the door for $5.

The evening included songs, meditation, and a sermon by a Buddhist priest. However, most of the night was spent reaffirming democracy by directing most of their rhetoric toward elected officials.
