ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – An Escanaba street is back open after an incident on May 16.
Around 8:30 p.m., North Lincoln Road was closed from the Marathon gas station to the Holiday Station Store. According to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), the closure was caused by a gas leak. Escanaba Public Safety officers were on site redirecting traffic.
Just after 3:00 a.m., MDOT announced that all lanes were reopened.
Escanaba Public Safety has not responded to a request for additional comment by WZMQ 19 News at the time of this post.
