ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Friday, a Republic-based cannabis dispensary opened a new storefront in Downtown Escanaba.
According to CEO and co-owner Nilsson Davis, Elevated Exotics focuses on high-quality, craft cannabis. The dispensary carries recreational products, but it does offer discounts for medicinal, senior, veteran, and tribal customers.
This is the second Elevated Exotics location in the Upper Peninsula. Davis says the owners are looking to make the Escanaba location the dispensary’s flagship store.
Davis believes the unique selection and personal touch of Elevated Exotics set it apart from other dispensaries.
“We’re all about variety,” he said. “We’re all about getting the customer what they want and helping them figure out what they want, because a lot of times they don’t even know until they try it. We’re just focused on educating the customer and enlightening them to the best quality possible.”
The dispensary’s grand opening continues on Saturday, April 29. It will feature regional growers, sales, and giveaways.
Elevated Exotics is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Davis hopes to extend those hours soon.
