The City of Kingsford has announced the line-up for its upcoming music festival, which will be held in celebration of the city’s 100th anniversary. The festival features an array of popular artists, including country duo Big and Rich, who are causing a buzz in the city.
According to a council-member who is also the president of the board of directors for the Centennial Celebration, Big and Rich were the first group signed for the festival due to a local connection. The council-member stated, “I’m personally hoping that we’ll have between ten and fifteen thousand people attending the festival,” Dennis Baldinelli commented.
In addition to Big and Rich, the festival boasts star-studded performances from Anne Wilson and Vince Neal. To manage parking at Lodal Park throughout the three-day festival, the city has arranged shuttle systems, including one with Bay College West. The city of Kinsford is also looking to make arrangements in congruence with the city of Iron Mountain to assist with parking for the festival.
Tickets for the festival can be purchased on the Kingsford Centennial website. The event promises to be a memorable celebration of the city’s centennial, as locals and visitors alike gather to enjoy live music and mark the milestone occasion of Kingsford’s 100 years
