MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – This St. Patty’s day is anything but without warm and tasty treats around Marquette. 231 West Patisserie right on Washington Street does have some festive treats for the community to enjoy.
The coffee shop served up shamrock shake and Irish cream-flavored cupcakes. Lucky Charms and Irish cream macaroons that are filled with baileys coffee and a special St. Patricks Day buttercream were also part of their festive treats. “Yea it’s definitely nothing like the U.P. has it is one of my favorite places even before I got hired up here when I was visiting. I just have such an admiration for our kitchen just like how hard they work downstairs. I think everything tastes amazing I don’t think I’ve ever had anything bad from here,” said Assistant Manager Jack White.
To top off your coffee visit, 231’s unique style of pastries and special blends of coffee makes for a festive taste for the Irish celebration.
