MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Brought to you by Matchstick Productions, the “Anywhere from here” film will premiere at the Ore Doc Brewing Company both on Friday, February 24th, and Saturday, the 25th at 5:30 PM.

The film explores the snowy mountains across the globe through the lens of a 12-year-old freestyle skier.

The movie is said to focus on the excitement of life, from a young age. The event is hosted by the NMU Board and Ski club.

“My whole family has been very into skiing for a very long time, I grew up doing it like I was just telling you earlier, I’ve been doing it for 19 years. I’m glad that I can bring it to Marquette and bring it to Northern Michigan and you know help out with the board and ski club. It’s gonna be a great community event and you should come out.”, said NMU Board and Ski Club President.

The NMU Board and Ski club is asking for a 5$ suggested donation at the door that will go towards funding the club. After the film, viewers can enjoy some live music from local bands.
