ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – Escanaba Public Safety firefighters quickly put out a small fire in a house Tuesday afternoon.
Public Safety said the call came in around 4:22 p.m. at 400 S 12th St in Escanaba. The caller reported smoke coming out of the house.
Firefighters found the fire contained to one bedroom and quickly extinguished it.
The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical.
Escanaba Public Safety was assisted at the scene by Ford River Volunteer Fire Department, City of Escanaba Electric Department, Red Cross, Rampart EMS, DTE, and the Delta County Central Dispatch Center.
