A new business joined the Dickinson area of Chamber of Commerce, making a total of 411 members.
The business, NDM Systems, specializes in computer and information technology services, including web design and antivirus surveillance.
Business owner, Nick DeMerse, was recently honored in downtown Iron Mountain for an official ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber’s Executive Director, members of the Downtown Development Authority, and other ambassadors of the Chamber of Commerce.
DeMerse commented, “I really enjoyed the ribbon cutting, I found that it was an opportunity to reach out to the community in a different way…and the Chamber of Commerce actually offers some discounts for advertising. So, by partnering up with them, I saw a great opportunity to get my company out there and actually reach out to the community…”
The owner said he saw a need in the community and that it inspired him to start up the service.
He added that “NDM Systems employees have multiple years of experience in the field, and we have actually partnered up with quite a few top-of-the-line companies in antivirus surveillance systems and web design systems.”
The business owner said that already he has been very busy since the grand opening of NDM Systems and he looks forward to serving the Upper Peninsula.
