MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Michigan and the nation are continuing to see a shortage of care aid workers which can leave individuals and families who require caregivers in a stressful situation.
The Caregiver Incentive Project is a non-profit organization in Marquette that provides opportunities for job placements.
They work with both caregivers and families in need to provide help to upper peninsula families who need it. This weekend the project is hosting a meet and greet at the Masonic center in Marquette.
Coffee and hot chocolate will be served, and a raffle will be held to giveaway tickets to Escape Marquette, an escape room in the masonic center.
There’s no registration required to attend the meet and greet which will include other non profits. It will be held at the entrance of the masonic center. For more information on the Caregiver Incentive project visit here.
