RAPID RIVER, Mich. (WZMQ) — On December 15th, Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) conducted an investigation that lead to the arrest of two men for the distribution of crack cocaine.
UPSET detectives developed information identifying suspects involved in the distribution of crack cocaine. The information was enough to execute a search warrant at a residence near Rapid River.
As a result of the search warrant, two suspects were arrested and lodged in the Delta County Jail. One of the suspects was from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was also arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
Detectives seized approximately 35 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, and over $2,300 in cash.
Detectives were assisted by deputies from the Delta County Sheriff Department, the Michigan State Police Hometown Security Team, and the Michigan State Police K-9 Unit.
