Marquette, Mich. (WZMQ) – You may have noticed that grocery stores are a bit quieter this holiday season. Theres just something missing as you head into your local Walmart or Meijer.
The Salvation Army is in need of volunteers to run its holiday operations staff say that’s why there aren’t as many bell ringers posted at the red kettles this year.
The captain of the Marquette location says he’s also looking for help sorting and distributing toys and clothes at its annual charity drive inside the Westwood mall.
The process to be a volunteer is very simple; you just need to go to the Salvations Armys website and follow the instructions.
Or you can call 906-226-2241.
