MARQUETTE, Mich (WZMQ) – The arts and culture alliance is a nonprofit that’s been in business for almost a decade now. Made up of leaders across all 15 counties. The whole purpose is to connect the entire U.P. with the arts, in more ways than just on the canvas.
Their next meeting will be on the 15th of November with a free reception afterward for anyone to learn and form new ways to bring together the art world and the U.P.
“Arts and culture is so important to our quality of life and it’s important to our economy. So the two are really intertwined, and I think that it’s not just the icing on the cake for arts and culture, it is the cake”, said Tiina Morin, Art & Culture Manager.
