No injuries in Wells house fire; house severely damaged

WELLS, Mich. (WZMQ) – No injuries were reported in a house fire in Wells Tuesday afternoon that severely damaged the home.

Escanaba Public Safety says it happened at 6369 S. 2nd St. at 12:30 p.m.

When fire crews arrived on scene, the house was fully engulfed.

The cause of the fire is unknown, and an investigation is underway.

Escanaba Public Safety was assisted on scene by the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, Escanaba Township Volunteer FD, RAMPART, Delta County Central Dispatch Center, and the Red Cross.
