2 injured in Marquette Township motorcycle crash

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – Two people were severely injured in a motorcycle crash in Marquette Township.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office says it happened Sunday, August 28 at 7:50 p.m. on County Rd. 550 near Eagle’s Nest Rd.

MCSO says a 34-year-old Trenary man was driving north on Eagle’s Nest Rd. and left the roadway at the north intersection of CR 550. A 23-year-old Marquette woman was riding with him.

The man was taken to U.P. Health System- Marquette by ambulance with severe, but not life-threatening, injuries. The woman also had severe, but not life-threatening, injuries, but she was not taken by ambulance.

The crash remains under investigation.
