First Thursday’s art tour is a monthly event here in Marquette. Local art studios keep their doors open late to show the community all that Marquette’s art scene has to offer.
From 6 to 8 PM on the first Thursday of every month, the involved studios host art demonstrations and keep their doors open to the public.
This month local artist Niikah Hatfield put on a slip casting demonstration in her studio off of Lakeshore Blvd. to show her process of making her ceramic creations.
