Marquette City Band’s Summer Concert Series Kicks off this Week

The Marquette City Band’s summer concert series starts this week with the first of six scheduled shows at Presque Isle Park.

The first Music in the Parks concert starts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Presque Isle Park will host four other Thursday concerts June 23, July 14, July 28 and Aug. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

The band will also play at Presque Isle on the Fourth of July beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free for all of the concerts. Donations will be accepted.

Northern Michigan University’s Reynolds Recital Hall will host the concerts if weather impacts the outdoor shows.
