New Pay Stations Installed for Parking in Downtown Marquette

by WZMQ 19 News

A A

New pay stations for parking have been installed in downtown Marquette and will be ready for use Wednesday.

Downtown Marquette visitors can expect to pay $1 per hour to park.

The rate will be enforced Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Payments can be made using the Passport parking app or at the nearest pay station using either cash or a credit or debit card.

Signs will be posted in parking lots and city blocks to inform visitors about the paid parking spots.

Visitors will be asked to enter their license plate number when paying for the parking spot, so parking enforcement can see if parking was paid for a vehicle.

Long-term and overnight parking passes are still available online here.
