The Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center is home to rotating exhibits that display the history and many cultures of The Upper Peninsula. This summer the Beaumier center is welcoming back the UP3D exhibit, a collection of photographs from the 1800s.
The center also displayed the collection back in 2017, but it since has been expanded to 60 large three-dimensional stereograph images, taken on a 3D camera with two lenses to create the 3D effect.
the Beaumier center is open Monday through Saturday from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m., they will be hosting this collection until August 27th. The center is open to the public and is providing 3D glasses for the full stereograph experience.
