The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market returns for its 23rd season Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Marquette Commons.
The weekly event continues every Saturday until Nov. 19th when it shuts down the week of Thanksgiving.
Shoppers will notice a new format at the market this year with 60 local vendors offering food and handcrafted goods.
The Community Table is back this year to offer local businesses and non-profits a chance to connect with the community.
Programming is also returning to the market after a two-year hiatus. There will be yoga at the market, a children’s program and food educators to teach guests how to make healthy food on a budget.
Most food assistance programs will be accepted by vendors.
