Multimedia Account Executive

WZMQ 19 is a trusted, local media leader delivering impactful content across television and digital platforms. PowerPlay, our cutting-edge digital product, allows us to offer comprehensive advertising solutions that help local businesses grow and thrive. We are looking for a driven and creative Multimedia Account Executive to join our team and help us build strong partnerships across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute strategies to consistently grow advertising revenue across both WZMQ 19 and PowerPlay
Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with local business owners and decision-makers
Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking
Make regular sales calls on current and prospective clients
Create and present tailored multimedia advertising solutions using both television and digital platforms
Educate clients on how WZMQ 19 and PowerPlay can effectively promote their products and services
Prepare customized advertising proposals, negotiate rates and finalize advertising contracts
Coordinate ad scheduling and creative production with internal teams
Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue goals

What You’ll Bring

Professional Certificates, Associates, and/or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of one year in sales. Media or advertising experience preferred.
Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
A proactive and goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
Familiarity with digital advertising tools and performance metrics is a plus
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment
