GWINN, Mich. (WZMQ) – If you’re looking to adopt a dog or a cat from UPAWS soon, October might be your month.
Fox Marquette Subaru is donating $4,000 to the shelter to pay for as many adoption fees as they can. From October 1st-31st, or until those funds run out, the dealership will cover costs for cats and dogs six months and older.
UPAWS says the partnership has been engaging in these donations for over 15 years, and those adoptions do not require an appointment.
“They have helped hundreds and hundreds of UPAWS animals find homes,” said UPAWs Communications Coordinator, Ann Brownell. “If you are looking at a dog, we do ask you bring your resident dog and everyone in your household to meet them.”
