MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Families were able to get creative tonight at the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum, with a little left-handed twist.
The museum hosted its second Thursday creativity series tonight, with this month’s theme centered around international left-handers day. Kids could take part in hands-on activities, including collage painting and stacking games, while also enjoying live music and some free Culver’s frozen custard.
“It’s international left-handers day today, so the kids can come in today and mess around with collage painting, stacking games, and enjoy some frozen custard from Culver’s,” says Jim Edwards, the Education Coordinator of Upper Michigan Children’s Museum. “We’ve got a variety of activities, a lot of fun things they can come in and play with.”
The second Thursday creativity series is held each month at the U.P. Children’s Museum, with a new theme and activities for families to enjoy.
