MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A new food truck is officially open for business in Marquette, and it’s a family affair.
Mugsy’s Corner celebrated its grand opening this morning at the Lake Superior Press parking lot on South Lake Street.
The menu features smash cudighi sandwiches, gourmet grilled cheese, pierogis, and small bites, with a rotating weekly schedule at spots around the city including Upper Peninsula Brewing Company and Lake Superior Press.
The truck is run by two siblings, with their mother Donna Walimaa taking the orders.
“Those two have a fabulous working relationship, and they’re entrepreneurs kind of like I always was, so it means a lot,” says Walimaa. “It’s gonna be a great, great adventure for all of us I think.”
