MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – An Ishpeming Township man faces multiple felony charges related to allegations of filming videos up women’s dresses.
On July 28th, 30-year-old Nicholas Arcaro was arraigned on eight felony counts of capturing an image of an unclothed person, eight felony counts of using a computer to commit a crime, and one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance. The charges stem from an investigation completed by the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, which involved allegations that Arcaro captured video up the dresses of female shoppers at local stores in Marquette Township.
A search of Arcaro’s residence led investigators to electronic devices containing several videos that Arcaro allegedly captured using a camera built into his shoe. Arcaro was taken into custody and eventually released on an $8,500.00 cash bond.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office, Department Store Loss Prevention, and the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit assisted in the investigation.
