NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Negaunee Public Library brought Michigan authors and readers together today as part of Pioneer Days.
Six local and regional authors set up at the library for a book signing… covering everything from thrillers and mysteries to children’s fiction and Marquette history.
Readers had the chance to browse, buy, and get their copies signed while meeting the writers behind the books.
Library Director Jessica Holman says events like this shine a light on a talent pool that often goes unnoticed. “It’s a great way to put faces to the books on our shelves,” says Holman. “We’re happy to get these local, Upper Peninsula authors more visibility through programs like this.”
Proof that great stories don’t always come from far away.
