Clark, Auyeung-Ashton and Viviano
MARQUETTE, Mich. — Three hockey players are set to attend NHL Development Camps, including defenseman Warren Clark, goaltender Oliver Auyeung-Ashton, and future Wildcat forward Salvatore Viviano.
Clark, a sixth-round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2023, returns to development camp in 2026. On-ice workouts begin with on-ice testing on Monday, June 29 and will conclude with the annual 3-on-3 tournament on Thursday and Friday. Tournament games will be streamed LIVE on the Lightning App and air on The Spot Tampa Bay 66, the television home of the Bolts. Tampa Bay’s Development Camp will showcase its top prospects, along with recent NHL draftees, invitees and additional participants.
Clark played in all but one contest for the Wildcats last season, after transferring to NMU from St. Cloud State University. Clark posted career-bests in games played, goals, assists, and points while averaging just north of 16 minutes of ice time per game for the Green and Gold.

Auyeung-Ashton just put the wraps on a spectacular individual freshman campaign between the pipes for the Wildcats, posting a .930 SV% and 2.67 GAA. The Coquitlam, British Columbia native also earned nominees for the Hobey Baker Award, given annually to the best player in college hockey, the Mike Richter Award, which is given annually to the best goalie in college hockey, and was a finalist for CCHA Rookie of the Year while earning a spot on the All-CCHA Rookie Team.
The Calgary Flames will be hosting their annual development camp for 25 prospects beginning on-ice Wednesday, July 1st at WinSport starting at 8:15am MT. The purpose of the camp is to enhance each player’s development process through direction on conditioning and familiarity with the Flames organization. Viviano, an undrafted 2007 birth year forward from Grand Blanc, Michigan, is set to join the Detroit Red Wings Develpoment Camp roster. Viviano played for the Waterloo Black Hawks of the USHL last season, where he scored 16 goals and 24 assists for 40 points in 61 games, leading the team in assists and second in both goals and points as an 18 year old.
As a native of Michigan, Viviano played through the AAA minor hockey ranks in the state, including stints with Bigby Coffee 18U, Compuware 16U and 15U, Victory Honda 14U, and Belle Tire 13U.
The Detroit Red Wings 2026 Development Camp, which returns to the BELFOR Training Center inside Little Caesars Arena from June 29-July 2. The camp begins on Monday, June 29 and features on-ice skill development and off-ice workouts each day, ending on Thursday, July 2.
