IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority has announced its lineup for this years community events.
The schedule will welcome the return of local favorites, like the Out to Lunch live music series, the farmers and artisans market, and Italian fest. The season will begin with a new family-based event called Summer Roll Out during the Summer Solstice weekend on June 20.
The DDA says this new event will replace the long running BrewFest in downtown Iron Mountain.
“We want to create spaces where people can come out with their whole families, really making those positive community spaces downtown,” said DDA Event Coordinator, Katherine Mentel. “We’re going to add more new activities to this festival, such as axe throwing, line dancing, and more.”
