STEPHENSON, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Stephenson man has been arrested for sex crimes.
On January 29, the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office took 30-year-old Jamil Gomez-Castro into custody. The arrest was the result of an investigation the Sheriff’s Office launched in Daggett Township last year. After reviewing the investigation, the Menominee County Prosecutor’s Office issued charges.
On January 30, Gomez-Castro was arraigned on two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor. He remains lodged in the Menominee County Jail on a $25,000 cash/surety bond.
