MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The West End Health Foundation has awarded a $15,000 grant to Trillium House to support its West End Resident Care Program.
The funding will be distributed over three years and is designated specifically for residents from the West End communities.
Trillium House is a residential hospice care facility in Marquette that provides short-term, end-of-life care for individuals who are unable to remain comfortably in their homes. The facility works in collaboration with local hospice agencies to ensure continuity of care.
According to Trillium House, the grant will help offset the cost of providing hospice services for West End residents, covering up to fifty days of care per year over the three-year period.
The West End Health Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations that offer programs and services aimed at improving health and wellness across Isheming, Negaunee, and surrounding townships.
