ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – Last weekend, the Escanaba Department of Public Safety placed three individuals under arrest in connection with methamphetamine possession.
The first arrest occurred during a routine traffic stop for a minor violation. A search of the vehicle led officers to locate methamphetamine.
In the second case, Escanaba Public Safety worked closely with the Sault Tribe in conducting a search warrant of a residence. During the operation, multiple grams of methamphetamine were seized. Two suspects were arrested. One of those individuals, Ashley Isaccson, has already been arraigned through the Delta County Prosecutor’s Office.
Finally, during another traffic stop, officers discovered methamphetamine inside the vehicle. The driver, Colt Warner, was arrested and lodged at the Delta County Jail. Warner has since been arraigned through the Delta County Prosecutor’s Office.
Escanaba Public Safety officials say they are committed to keeping drugs out of the community. They encourage the public to continue reporting suspicious activity.
