MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Multiple people were treated for minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Marquette.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., Marquette City Police officers were dispatched to a personal injury crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of US-41 and McClellan Avenue. The first vehicle, being driven by a 58-year-old Traverse City woman, was traveling westbound on US-41 and made an improper left turn onto McClellan Avenue. She then crossed into the path of the second vehicle, driven by a 25-year-old Marquette man, which was heading eastbound on US-41 and had a green light.

When officers arrived on scene, they contacted the female driver. She and several passengers in the first vehicle were transported to UPHS-Marquette for minor injuries. The male driver of the second vehicle sought his own treatment for minor injuries.

In addition to the Marquette City Police Department, responding agencies included the Marquette City Fire Department, UPHS-EMS, the Michigan State Police, and the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department.
