HOUGHTON, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Houghton Police Department is investigating a bicycle-vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday, September 9.
At approximately 1:50 p.m., police responded to a personal injury accident on Townsend Drive/US-41. A bicyclist traveling on the sidewalk was struck by a vehicle, which was being driven by a 21-year-old Minnesota man.
The injured bicyclist was transported by Mercy Ambulance to U.P. Health for medical treatment. The crash remains under investigation.
