WELLS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – No injuries were reported after a structure fire in Wells Township on Sunday.
The Escanaba Department of Public Safety responded to a structure fire on 16.5 Road at approximately 1:48 a.m. When officers arrived, the two-story home was fully engulfed. Firefighters remained on scene for four and a half hours.
The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and there were no reports of injury. The structure is considered a total loss. The fire remains under investigation.
