GWINN, Mich. (WZMQ) – This Father’s Day weekend at 150 W Johnson Lake Rd, The Sisters Rodeo Co. presents the 2025 Great Lakes Rodeo.
Friday at 12 p.m. will kick off the weekends first rodeo competition, before the main performance at 6 p.m. On Saturday morning, a parade will start at 10 a.m., followed by another full day of competitions and main evening performance at 6 p.m.
A new Great Lakes Rodeo Queen and Court are also set to be voted for, with last years reining court making an appearance in Saturday’s parade.
“There’s bull riding, horse riding and the rodeo clown,” said Great Lakes Rodeo 2024 Lil’ Miss, Maggie Dow. “I get to ride in a carraige with horses, and I get to smile, throw candy and wave.”
Both nights will feature an afterparty at 9 p.m. on the rodeo grounds, with food and merchandise vendors available throughout the weekend. Tickets can be found here or upon entering.
