Augustana makes its Winter Carnival debut

HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech hockey program announced its 2025-26 CCHA schedule on Tuesday (May 13) in conjunction with the conference office unveiling its composite schedule. The full schedule to include non-conference opponents will be announced at a later date.

The CCHA-opener for the Huskies is October 24-25 against Ferris State at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena.

Tech plays archrival Northern Michigan on November 7-8 with Friday’s game in Houghton and Saturday’s in Marquette. The Huskies host Bemidji State on the following weekend (Nov. 14-15) at the Mac. November continues at Minnesota State (Nov. 21-22) and then at home against St. Thomas (Nov. 28-29) on Thanksgiving weekend.

The Black and Gold travel to Ferris State on December 12-13 in the only CCHA games of the month.

After the Holiday break, conference play resumes on January 9-10 at Bemidji State followed by four straight games in the UP. Minnesota State travels to Houghton on January 16-17. The Huskies and Wildcats meet again on January 23-24 with Saturday’s game at the Mac. January wraps up at St. Thomas (Jan. 30-31) in Tech’s debut at the Lee and Penny Anderson Arena.

Augustana will be the 2026 Winter Carnival opponent on February 6-7. The final road trip of the season is to Lake Superior State (Feb. 13-14) and the regular season wraps up at home against Bowling Green (Feb. 27-28).

The top four teams after the regular season will host the opening round of the CCHA Mason Cup Playoffs on March 6-8 with a best-of-three series. The CCHA semifinals will be on March 14 with the CCHA Mason Cup Championship Game taking place the following weekend.

The NCAA Tournament opens play on March 27 with regional sites in Albany, NY, Loveland, Colo., Sioux Falls, SD, and Worcester, Mass. The 2026 Frozen Four will be staged at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 9 and 11.

All CCHA and home non-conference games will be streamed on Midco Sports Plus.

Michigan Tech ticketing information will be released in July.
