MUNISING, Mich. (WZMQ) – Saturday marks opening day for the 2025 Pictured Rocks Cruises summer season.
Amid the continued construction on its new gift shop and ticket building, tours kick off this Saturday at 2 p.m. From May 10 through October 19, daily two to three hour cruises will take visitors along the sandstone cliffs, highlighting more than 16 different landmarks.
Along with the ongoing changes, the company says it’s looking forward to a great season.
“It’s a little bit different than the past few years because of the construction project. That won’t be done this weekend, but we’re pretty optimistic that it’ll be done fairly soon,” said Micaela Lindstrom, the office manager for Pictured Rocks Cruises. “We are excited to take people out on the cruise, we have people signed up already, even thought it will be pretty cold.”
Tickets can be purchased here, or at the Pictured Rocks Interpretive Center, until construction is completed.
