NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Gladstone man has been arrested for driving under the influence, following a two-vehicle crash on Monday.
At approximately 7:07 p.m. on April 21, the Negaunee Police Department responded to a crash in the City of Negaunee on County Road 480 near Old 480.
A white Ford F150, driven by a 56-year-old Negaunee man, was traveling West on County Road 480 when a black Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 33-year-old Gladstone man, crossed the center line and caused a collision.
Both men were transported to UPHS – Marquette for treatment and later released with minor injuries. Police conducted an investigation, leading them to arrest the driver of the Silverado for driving under the influence.
The Negaunee City Police Department was assisted on scene by the Negaunee City Fire Department, the Michigan State Police, the Ishpeming City Police Department, UPHS EMS, and Anttila’s Towing.
