MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Saturday, April 26, the Marquette Farmers Market will be showcasing a preview market for new and existing vendors. The smaller scale market will be available for the public to view some of this years lineup, and to purchase their Market Memberships.
For a donation of $100 or more, the Market Membership will grant early access to each Saturday and Wednesday market, as well as many other opportunities. Only 100 memberships will be given out for the 2025 season.
This weekends preview market will also allow for new vendors to sell their items before signing on as an official booth.
“For vendors who may be interested in coming to the market but they’re not fully decided yet, this might be a good chance to come in,” said Brian Shier, manager of the Downtown Market in Marquette. “They don’t have to pay anything, they just come, sell, see if its something they want to do.”
The preview market will go from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Marquette Commons.
