MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at Northern Michigan University (NMU) is putting on their seventh annual Marquette Coffee Crawl this Saturday.
The crawl includes coffee shops from around Marquette and all the money raised goes to support the Women’s Center. Last year the crawl raised around $7,000 through ticket sales.
One PRSSA member and NMU student Minnie Bittell said the crawl helps them practice their major while supporting an important cause.
“The women’s center does a lot of good in our community, it’s a resource, it helps educate, it helps prevent domestic violence and really helps victims,” said Bittell. “So anything we can do to support this cause is really important for us.”
Tickets are 20 dollars, and can be found here.
