MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – NMU Theatre and Dance seniors are raising money to help them enter the industry after graduation with a fundraiser performance at Blackrocks brewery on April 22nd.
The performance will include songs, monologues, and rehearsed scenes from the senior class and help raise money for their showcase performance on Mackinaw Island this summer. One senior, DaShawn Mitchell said attending the show is a great way to support the senior class while having a good time.
“It’s a chance to see what really goes down in the theatre and dance department, but also you get to just have fun with us for an hour and fifteen minutes, it’s just a riot,” said Mitchell. “We’re asking for money, but more than that we’re asking for you to come enjoy the stuff that we’ve gotten to work on.”
The show is free to attend and will begin at 9 p.m.
