NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Negaunee Middle School is hosting the annual craft sale fundraising for the 8th-grade trip to Washington D.C. Over 30 craft vendors with all mediums gathered in the Negaunee Lakeview Gymnasium.
All profits from vendor’s slot rental fees, to the baked goods sold as well as shopper’s donations. The Negaunee 8th-grade students helped in multiple areas at the event, like selling baked goods, helping vendors at their stands, and collecting donations.
A Negaunee student shared her favorite part of working this event, “I think it’s the people that are going through they all are really nice, and it’s nice seeing new people,” said Millie Elack, Negaunee 8th-grade student.
