IRONWOOD, Mich. (WZMQ) – An Ironwood woman is facing another drunk driving charge after Michigan State Police troopers witnessed her driving on the wrong side of the road.
Around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, MSP troopers from the Wakefield Post noticed a vehicle traveling on Lowell St. near Pewabic St. in Ironwood. Troopers say the driver committed multiple violations, including driving on the wrong side of the road. Troopers made a traffic stop and arrested the 48-year-old woman. She’s charged with Operating While Intoxicated 3rd Offense or Subsequent, which is a felony, and Operating without a Valid Driver’s License, a misdemeanor.
The suspect was lodged in the Gogebic County Jail and released on a $1,000 bond. She is due in court for arraignment on Nov. 25.
