ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – An Ishpeming man is facing multiple charges after police say he stole a number of items from a construction site in Marquette.
On Oct. 14, the Marquette Police Department received a complaint of a stolen cell phone from the 300 block of Pine St. in Marquette. Further investigation into the phone’s location led police to a residence in Ishpeming.
On Oct. 25, Marquette police detectives and Ishpeming police officers executed a search warrant at a home on the 600 block of E St. in Ishpeming. The stolen cell phone was found inside along with tools matching the description of items missing from a construction jobsite on the 400 block of E Ridge St. in Marquette during the weekend of Oct. 11. An additional search warrant was obtained to specifically search for tools reported stolen in that incident.
The suspect, 29-year-old Jamison Fisk, was arrested on a parole detainer on Oct. 25. He’s charged with larceny in a building, a four-year felony; two counts of stolen property- receiving and concealing $200 to $1,000, a one-year misdemeanor; and larceny of $200 to $1,000, a one-year misdemeanor.
Fisk was arraigned in 96th District Court on Oct. 29. His total bond was set at $11,000 cash/surety. He is currently lodged in the Marquette County Jail.
- Court records show Fisk is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on Nov. 7.
