NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Three people are hospitalized with unknown injuries after police were called for a female “jumping into traffic” and a subsequent crash.
Few details are known at this time. It happened on US-41 between Heritage Dr. and Perala Ct. in Negaunee around 9 a.m. Saturday. The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department says when deputies arrived on scene, they found a vehicle had crashed, but it’s unclear what exactly led up to that crash.
The sheriff’s department says one male and two females were taken to UP Health System- Marquette for unknown injuries. It’s unclear whether the reported female jumping into traffic was one of those hospitalized.
