NEWBERRY, Mich. (WZMQ) – At approximately 5:00 am on Friday, June 28, Michigan State Police Troopers from the Sault Ste. Marie Post responded to a burglary alarm at the Dollar General story in Newberry. The store is located at 7753 M-123.
It was discovered upon arrival that the store had been broken into, and several items were stolen from inside.
The MSP is seeking public assistance in identifying the subject, and/or any other information that may assist the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the MSP Sault Ste. Marie Post at 906-632-2217.
This investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time. WZMQ will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
