ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – A cruise ship is scheduled to visit Little Bay de Noc this weekend.

The Pearl Mist Cruise Ship, owned by Pearl Seas Cruises, will dock at Escanaba’s North Shore Marine Terminal & Logistics Dock, located along 1st Avenue North, at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 23. The ship will stay docked in Escanaba all day, with departure scheduled for approximately 11:00 p.m.

“We are looking forward to welcoming another cruise ship, the Pearl Mist, to Escanaba and to North Shore Marine Terminal this Sunday,” said Nick Kobasic, president of North Shore Marine Terminal & Logistics. “Delta County has become known for the warm hospitality shown to the passengers and crew aboard the cruise ships visiting our area last summer, and we want to encourage everyone to continue the enthusiasm this summer during the Pearl Mist’s visit.”

Sunday’s stop in Escanaba is part of the Pearl Seas “Great Lakes Explorer” 15-day itinerary, which begins in Toronto and includes stops in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Click here for more information on Pearl Seas Cruises.
