MARQUETTE, Mich (WZMQ) – The first Marquette farmers market opened this past Saturday. Multiple community members came down to enjoy the vendors at this seasons market.
There was a wide variety of vendors, from produce stands, to clothing stands. There was even a vendor making fresh food on the spot, what ever you wanted from the menu. The crew of the framers market were also excited for this big day.
“I really feel I’m apart of the community and it’s wonderful to be able to know all the farmers and just – just I don’t know, it’s nice”, Lilly Fellarme, Farmers market cashier.
The market is open Wednesday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for more information go to the Marquette farmers market website.
